Chris Shima of Shima Ceramics makes everything by hand. Each mug he makes is slip-cast, trimmed, glazed, and signed the old fashioned way. Sometimes Shima Ceramics make tropical mugs, but other times their mugs are inspired by nautical history or horror. Chris was recently interviewed by The Search for Tiki as part of the annual event 13 Nights of Tiki Frights and the interview is now available on YouTube.
