Refund and Return Policy

    We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item you purchased is defective. If you receive a defective item, please contact us with details of the product and the defect within 14 days of the product’s ship date. You can contact us by email at admin@searchfortiki.com.     The Search for Tiki LLC is not responsible for shipping costs if you decide to return a defective product via mail without first obtaining approval from us. Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via e-mail or mail, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a refund or a replacement as a result of the defect. If you are entitled to a replacement or refund, we will either replace the product or issue you store credit to be used on future purchases at The Search for Tiki LLC. In special circumstances we may also at our discretion refund the purchase price, using the original method of payment.

What is considered defective?

The Search for Tiki LLC will determine which items are defective and eligble for exhange or refund based on the following criteria:

A defective item is:

  • An item that has broken in transit from the seller (The Search for Tiki LLC.) to the customer.
  • An item that cannot be used for it’s intended purpose as a result of a significant manufacturing defect.
  • An item that has been recalled by the manufacturer.

A defective item is NOT:

  • An item that has been used.
  • An item that has normal variations as a result of the manufacturing process.
  • An item that has arrived later than anticipated.
  • An item that is no longer wanted by the customer.

Preorders

    The estimated shipping date on items, including but not limited to preorders, is not guaranteed. Delays can and do occur and a delay will not be considered an eligible reason for a refund or return. If you are not willing to wait for your purchased item, please do not preorder it. 

    If you have an outstanding order with The Search for Tiki LLC and your mailing address changes, you must notify us via email (admin@searchfortiki.com) prior to your item shipping. If you do not update your mailing address on file and your item ships to an incorrect address, The Search for Tiki LLC is not responsible for replacing or refunding the item.

Policy Updates

    When you place an order through thesearchfortiki.com you agree to our Refund and Return Policy. We reserve the right to make changes to this Refund and Return Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date of this Refund and Return Policy. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Refund and Return Policy on the website, and you waive the right to receive specific notice of each such change or modification.

    You are encouraged to periodically review this Refund and Return Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Refund and Return Policy by your continued use of the webite after the date such revised Refund and Return Policy is posted.
