Shima Ceramics has announced that the last of their Hannya Demon mugs will be sold through private auction. The special Artist Proof mugs include two blue, one light green, one black/red, two red, and one black/white mugs.
The Hannya Demon mug is the first in a series of mugs based on Japanese demons. This particular mug is inspired by the traditional masks of Japanese Noh theater. Hannya masks portray the souls of women obsessed with jealousy. Each mug holds approximately 16 fl. oz. of cocktail and is produced in the United States.
To place a bid on one of the final Hannya demon mugs, private message Shima Ceramics on Instagram or contact them via email. If the minimum offer of $495 is not reached, then the mugs will be put up for sale through the official website of Shima Ceramics.
