Search For Tiki Announces New Tiki Mug With An Imitation Newspaper Featuring A Mug Shot

The official The Search for Tiki Instagram page recently shared a preview of a new Tiki mug by means of an imitation newspaper. The paper’s headline “police topple alleged leader of Tiki crime syndicate” is paired with the mug shot of a sinister looking Tiki mug, with artwork by BigToe.
BigToe, also known as Tom Laura, was born in Los Angeles and lives in Southern California. In addition to designing Tiki mugs, BigToe has created apparel and designs for numerous surf companies, such as Quicksilver, O’Neill and Op. He is well known for his acrylic paintings.
More information will be announced in the days to come, but the mug announcement comes just days ahead of The Search for Tiki’s official one year anniversary on July 1, 2021. The newspaper hints at a $59.99 price point and a possible preorder date of 6:00pm PDT/9:00pm EDT next Thursday.
