This ceramic mug fan art tribute was designed and sold by Tiki Maniacs. It depicts a favorite 1969 to 1974 TV show character as portrayed by teen idol actor and singer Barry Williams. Groovy Greg 50th Anniversary Gold Edition commemorates Barry William’s 1972 trip to an idealized Hawaii that introduced a new generation to the wonders of tiki culture. Barry officially authorized this mug in his likeness which was expertly sculpted by Dave “Squid” Cohen in a whimsical style reminiscent of the 1970’s United Airlines Menehune Advertising Figures. The mug exterior is completely covered in a shiny metallic matte gold glaze, while the interior and bottom are glossy white. Mugs include a custom made surfboard shaped swizzle stick in pearlized metallic gold color. Also includes a 5×7 postcard print featuring the Barry Williams approved image that inspired the mug plus an exclusive Groovy Greg cocktail recipe by renown mixologist Kelly “Old Man” Merrell!
