This ceramic tiki mug depicts a boat sailing in rough ocean waters. It celebrates the famous journey that took place in 1947 across the Pacific Ocean from South America to the Polynesian islands. The ship set sail to disprove skeptics that long distance travel by primitive boat was indeed possible.
