Description
NELSON’S DEMISE: This barrel’s rum dried up a long time ago, along with the fleshy remains of its inhabitant… Admiral Nelson. The story goes that when Nelson perished in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805– his body was preserved in a barrel of rum so that he could have a proper burial at home. The only problem was… sailors got thirsty along the way, and they started tapping the barrel in secret. Without rum to preserve Nelson, his body deteriorated. This ceramic cocktail mug is LIMITED EDITION of 200.
