Description
This Monstro Whale Mug was designed for Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Walt Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to celebrate the release of Pinocchio on the Disney+ streaming service. It depicts Monstro, a giant whale, emerging from the ocean depths with a gaping mouth and an upturned tail. Although this mug is the first edition released at Grog Grotto, the same design was released earlier with a different glaze at a Trader Sam’s Mixology Seminar on August 22, 2022, for $129 plus tax and gratuity. Attendees were surprised with the mug, but they were not allowed to purchase more of them, until a later date when the blue version was released at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar in Anaheim, California.
