Description
Silently standing guard over the treasures hidden within Superstition Mountain, the Pukao Moai Tiki Mug was the inaugural 2022 Superstition Village Tiki Marketplace Event Mug which was held in Queen Creek, Arizona on September 24th, 2022. The mug was inspired by Easter Island “Pukao” Moai which feature hat-like structures or “topknots” placed on their heads. The Superstition Village Pukao Moai Mug blends Easter Island history with Arizona’s Lost Dutchman Mine lore with design elements such as an X that marks the spot of the treasure and a magnetic gold-toned coin. Limited to 150 mugs, it was designed by Tiki Maniacs and Dave “Squid” Cohen, sculpted by Squid, and produced by Oakwash in the USA. Includes a custom swizzle stick, magnetically attached souvenir drinking game coin, mini art print by Benjamin Burch and Superstition Punch recipe by Tiki Dan.
