This ceramic mug depicts a weathered brown rum barrel with raised lettering that reads “Aku Aku”. It is considered a vintage mug and was manufactured by one of the original mug makers, Otagiri Mercantile Company. Aku Aku was a Polynesian restaurant inside the Stardust Casino in Las Vegas. It operated from 1960 to 1980.
