Description

This ceramic cocktail mug is inspired by the character Trader Sam (now removed) from the Magic Kingdom version of Walt Disney’s theme park attraction Jungle Cruise. Since Trader Sam on the East coast looks significantly different than his counterpart on the West coast, some people also refer to him as Chief Namee (a reference to a skipper accidentally reading the Jungle Cruise script as “Chief Nah-Me” instead of “Chief (Name)” while the attraction was being revised. This ceramic portrayal of the character depicts him as a shrunken head with stitching over his eyes and mouth, although the character is still wearing his signature hat.
