Super cool mug that was very poorly executed. Top and bottom glaze don’t match… Way over priced..

When I received my mug, I contacted the business and explained that a mistake must have been made. The lid didn’t match the bottom! The glazes don’t match and the lid slides off. A representative from the business explained it wasn’t a mistake.

Unfortunately the reviews about lids not matching bottoms is true. I think they are made separately and paired later in the process. The picture here gives a fair representation of the color mismatch but doesn’t give you a feel for how difficult it is to make the lid sit on top. The slightest nudge would cause the lid to fall off and likely break. I still enjoy looking at it and found it to be worth what I paid.

Mismatch lid to mug in glaze & fit. But still enjoy look in my collection!
