This ceramic mug depicts a dark-skinned surfer girl crushing monster waves on a red surfboard. She is wearing an orchid flower lei and a red skirt, and tropical fish are swimming beneath her. It is considered a vintage mug and was manufactured by one of the original mug makers, Otagiri Mercantile Company. Aku Aku was a Polynesian restaurant inside the Stardust Casino in Las Vegas. It operated from 1960 to 1980.
