Description
The Pallid Mask Tiki Mug is a large tiki mug, inspired by a love of the stories of Robert Chambers, H.P. Lovecraft and his Cthulhu mythos. It depicts a grim reaper holding a book and is decorated with bewitching symbols. The designs for this mug pulls from classic orientalia; that special class of tiki-adjacent Chinese restaurant that dumped tiki style, flaming pupu platters, and strong drinks in front of generations of diners.

Special Notes: The artist of this mug visited Portland and Seattle some time ago and took a tour of the underground tunnels in Seattle. The trip inspired a love for sunken streets, and the legendary shanghai tunnels of Portland. If you look closely you can see a map of the infamous docs area of Portland, and a TCB tentacled nod to Elvis.
