We Are Back! Happy New Year. Here Is An Update On The Website For 2024.
Aloha friends! 🤙🏻 Mahalo for being patient with me these past couple months while I have been MIA. I want to update you on what has been going on and what is planned for 2024!
I don’t see much being mentioned on social media about burn out, but I had been feeling fried. 🫠 When I first got into tiki a few years ago, I fell HARD and FAST down a rabbit hole of tiki mugs and tropical escapism. I very much love those things today… but after several years of obsessing and diving in head first, including a stressful October (13 Nights of Tiki Frights) and our charity drive for Maui, I needed to take a few steps back and refocus myself on other things. My friendships and family had taken a back seat for too long, and I felt a need to reconnect with my other joys. While I was doing this, my websites were put on a temporary hold. With that being said, and 2024 finally upon us, I am getting back to it! Here are some updates:
The Search for Tiki:
- Mug uploads have resumed! Check in daily to update your collections.
- New mug submissions are on temporary hold while I upload past submissions.
- The shop has been disabled while I get caught up. Existing orders will ship this week. New orders are temporarily unavailable.
- News coverage on new mug releases will resume shortly as well.
New England Tiki Society
- The annual holiday celebration was cancelled, but we are still planning events and our next event will celebrate the Lunar New Year at Wusong Road Tiki Bar in February.
- The website is temporarily down. Do not worry- the New England Tiki Society is still alive and well! I am looking forward to seeing you all again soon.
Thank you again for being patient with me while I took a break! Tiki continues to be a passion project for me on top of my full time job. I appreciate all of you. Mahalo nui!

Tim the Temple Climber
Welcome back. I had no idea there was a New England Tiki Society – that helps to solve my tiki-related deficits! I’m located in New Hampshire and Wusong Road is my top tiki bar go-to, though I enjoy Shore Leave every now and then. Looking forward to the events to come.
