Pleasant Tiki, also known as Ken and Heather Pleasant, are carrying on the Witco Decor family tradition with a new Tiki mug manufactured by Oakwash in Louisiana. Omar Girona has translated the classic Polynesian Fountain design of William Westenhaver into a series of ceramic mugs.
The Polynesian Fountain has been revealed in two glazes including white/brown and brown/dark brown color ways. Official details on the mug releases have not yet been announced, but we recommend following Pleasant Tiki on Instagram if you do not want to miss out.
Ken and Heather Pleasant are a husband and wife team creating Tiki inspired art that is heavily influenced by Heather’s Grandfather, William Westenhaver, who presided over Witco Decor. Bill taught Ken how to carve in 1988 and together they created for twenty years. Today Ken and Heather continue the Witco legacy with their company Pleasant Tiki.
