SHAG’s The Teraphim is inspired by the lush tropical paintings of Henri Rousseau and the botanical wallpapers of Regency interiors. The new silk screen print features a Moai head, tropical birds, flaming skulls, jungle foliage, and a couple enjoying a swimming hole.
Additional details such as sizing and pricing have not yet been revealed, but collectors serious about investing in a piece of SHAG art should sign up for the SHAG store email list for updates. Prints tend to sell out quickly.
SHAG, also known as Josh Agle, is a Southern Californian painter, illustrator and designer. He incorporates his distinctly vivid art style into all of his ceramic Tiki mugs and silk screen prints. It is easy to identify his creations because his work is unmistakably “SHAG”.
If The Teraphim is made available online, it will most likely go on sale through the official website of the SHAG store. Are you in love with SHAG’s latest art piece?
