Smuggler’s Cove Announces First Ever Mug Collaboration With Gecko

It’s been a while since Smuggler’s Cove in San Francisco released a new cocktail mug, but soon that will change. They have collaborated with Mike “Gecko” Souriolle on a new mug.
The mug is inspired by a carving Gecko made using rescued wood from the Ward Warehouse, which was demolished in 2017. Gecko made a master mold and then shipped it from Hawaii to Max’s ceramic studio in Grand Rapids, where it was then used to produce mugs.
Two versions of the new mug have been announced. A brown edition (LE 100) goes on sale in person at Smuggler’s Cove on Sunday, July 17th at 5:00pm PDT for $200 each. Any unsold mugs will be sold online starting at 10:00am PDT on Tuesday, July 19th. Some restrictions apply.
The second “Super Deluxe Edition” (LE 50) will be sold by raffle ticket. Raffle tickets will go on sale Tuesday July 19th. Winners will be offered the opportunity to purchase the mug for $275 and the drawing will take place on Friday, July 29th.
