Is it too early to start planning for Halloween? The Black Lagoon Room doesn’t seem to think so, as they just recently announced a new mug titled Spoo-Tiki. Since ceramic mugs can take a year to produce, their timing makes sense.

Concept art for Spoo-Tiki was revealed and it depicts a mug with a traditional cylindrical shape, except that the body of the mug has been “bended” like the body of a ghost. Ghosts, bats, and tombstones decorate the base of the mug, and “Spoo-Tiki” is written on the back of the mug.

Two unique glazes are planned for Spoo-Tiki. The first glaze is a Tombstone Grey glaze described as grey with a dark grey or black wash, an orange interior, orange lettering, and white and black ghosts. The second glaze is named Fresh Grave Brown and will likely be medium brown with a dark brown wash, a green interior, green lettering, and white and black ghosts. The edition size for each glaze has not yet been announced, but each mug will stand about 8½” tall.

The Black Lagoon Room is the home Tiki bar and business of Pete Klockau. They design Tiki mugs, enamel pins, patches, t-shirts, and more. They are probably best known for their Thirsty Creature mug produced by Tiki Diablo.

The release for Spoo-Tiki is currently estimated for late Summer/Fall, but that is subject to change. More information will be shared at a later date on The Search for Tiki, as well as the official Instagram of The Black Lagoon Room
