Stowaway Tiki Announces Release Date For New Surfing Monkey Cocktail Mug Designed By BigToe

   Stowaway Tiki in Tustin, California has announced their first permanent Tiki mug design and its one designed by BigToe. The first edition is limited to only 225 mugs in a glossy blue glaze and it comes with a Rum Runner cocktail.

    The new mug depicts a cheeky looking monkey crushing some serious waves on a surfboard. It retails for $50, which includes a cocktail. The monkey has raised eyebrows and a wide grin.

    BigToe, also known as Tom Laura, was born in Los Angeles and lives in Southern California. In addition to designing Tiki mugs, Big Toe has created apparel and designs for numerous surf companies, such as Quicksilver, O’Neill and Op. He is known for his acrylic paintings on driftwood.

    The mug will be released in person at Stowaway Tiki on Tuesday, July 27, and Tom Laura will be there starting at 5:00pm PDT to sign mugs. Are you looking forward to adding this mug to your collection?
