After briefly appearing in Walt Disney’s The Haunted Mansion when it opened in 1969, the inspiration for this tiki mug, the Hatbox Ghost, was removed from the attraction suddenly and without notice. Explanations for his abrupt departure are plentiful and remain a mystery, however the Hatbox Ghost has finally returned for your ghoulish enjoyment.
