Description
This ceramic cocktail mug is the first in a series of mugs created by Chris Shima of Shima Ceramics depicting Japanese demons. This Hannya Demon mug is inspired by the traditional masks of Japanese Noh theater. Hannya masks portray the souls of women who have become demons due to obsession or jealousy.
This product was produced as a made-to-order mug, in which four unique color variations were offered. Those who messaged Chris were able to put down a deposit on the mug and choose a color. Later on December 3, 2022, the remaining mugs were put up for sale, but the red version had already sold out. The total edition size of 50 mugs is split between the four unique glazes.
