Description
This ceramic cocktail mug depicts the Hawaiian God Kū, the God of war, who is one of four gods in Hawaiian mythology along with Kanaloa, Kāne, and Lono. It was designed and manufactured by Notch in the United States and it has a removable headdress. This particular version is extremely limited (only ten mugs were produced) and it was sold during the Covid-19 pandemic to raise funds in support of staff at Smuggler’s Cove in San Francisco. Due to the limited number of mugs in this edition, Smuggler’s Cove utilized a raffle system to make mug sales more fair.
