Description

This ceramic cocktail mug depicts a groaning Tiki statue as if it had sunken to the bottom of the ocean. It is covered in barnacles, coral, and fish nets. The mug was designed by Crazy Al for Smuggler’s Cove in San Francisco, and the design was featured on the cover of Smuggler’s Cove: Exotic Cocktails, Rum, and the Cult of Tiki written by Martin Cate with Rebecca Cate. The mug has been produced in several different editions and this particular version has a brown and black hand wiped glaze.

Special Notes: Originally this mug was available for in person purchase only, but the mug was later available online through the official Smuggler’s Cove website to raise funds for the bar while it was closed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

    This mug is one of my favorites. It feels great in the hands, it’s not too heavy and it looks authentic. It doesn’t hurt that it came from the amazing Smuggler’s Cove, either.
