Description
This mug is a self-portrait of Odd Rodney blended with features of an Easter Island (Moai) Head. This mug was originally a sculpture created in 2007-2008 for a gallery show curated by BigToe named “Surf Beat”. It was made of fiberglass and had shoulders (less than 20 were sold). In 2019, Odd Rodney created a tiki mug version by modifying the original sculpt. He got rid of the shoulders, addressed undercuts, and added his name to the back of the mug.
