Inspired by Walt Disney’s The Enchanted Tiki Room attraction pre-show, this tiki mug depicts Pele (pronounced peh-leh), the Goddess of Fire. Pele is revered in Hawaiian mythology and has a fiery temperament. When a volcano erupts on the Hawaiian islands, it’s eruption is attributed to Pele’s quest to be with her true love. Jody Daily’s original design of this mug called for the lid to be used as a flame garnish, but the design was altered for safety reasons.
