The Puka Pounder is Vantiki’s third mug in a series of puka pounders inspired by artifacts found in The Bishop Museum. The traditional tool was used by ancient Hawaiians to grind taro plant into poi for consumption.

Special Notes: The development of this mug was featured in VanTiki’s Tiki Technical Tuesday videos on YouTube and Instagram. A balloon was used to to glaze the interior and exterior of the mug differently.
