This ceramic cocktail mug was generously donated from a private collection to raise funds for Hawaii. 100% of the net proceeds from this mug will be donated to support relief efforts in Hawaii after the recent devastating wildfires. This mug is Color Sample #2 for the first ever EXOTIKON event. The design is based on the legendary Tiki Theme Park in Monterey Park, California, Danny Balsz’s THE TIKIS! The image is inspired by a photograph taken by Tiki historian, SVEN KIRSTEN at one of the early URBAN ARCHEOLOGIST EXPEDITIONS to the lost THE TIKIS II ruins. THE TIKIS had their own stylized carvings at the park and these amazing Marquesan figures were iconic to the venue. Tipped at an asymmetrical angle, the Tiki is also captured symbolically rising from the mouth of the MT. BALSZ VOLCANO. The front and back feature THE TIKIS and EXOTIKON logos. It is a large piece measuring over 10.5″ tall and comes with a detachable lid with straw hole.
