Lost Temple Traders is releasing their Zombie Severed Skipper Tiki mug this Friday the 13th. It is a super limited two-mug set featuring a removable head. The Zombie Severed Skipper was sculpted by Patrick Vassar and produced by Monkey Skull.

The new mug depicts the bust of a zombie skipper (skipper is the name given to workers of Disney’s Jungle Cruise attraction and the bartenders at Trader Sam’s). The zombie has a pale blue face and is wearing a hat and collared shirt with pockets. It’s ribcage protrudes on the back of the mug. Zombie Severed Skipper comes in two pieces- the head can be removed from the torso and both pieces can be used individually as separate mugs. The face shape of this mug is a nod to the original zombie from Night of the Living Dead, Bill Hinzman. The removable head pays homage to Ren Clark’s severed head.

Lost Temple Traders, founded in 2019, sells both limited edition Tiki mugs and collectible pins. Their products feature iconic images from adventure stories, including traveling headhunters and camp raiding monkeys.

Those hoping to score a Zombie Severed Skipper will be able to do so via the official Lost Temple Traders website this Friday, November 13th, at 9:00am PST. The first edition is limited to only 75 mugs and each will retail for $165 shipped.

What do you think of this two-mug design?
