A Live Interview With Danielle Mann of Black Lagoon Designs

    Saturday we are thrilled to be interviewing Danielle Mann of Black Lagoon Designs as part of 13 Nights of Tiki Frights, a multi-day online event hosted by The Search for Tiki and sponsored by Scooter. Each night, from October 19 through October 31, we will be interviewing a talented artist known for their work within the Tiki community and giving away a unique cocktail mug to one lucky winter.

    Black Lagoon Designs creates handmade ceramic Tiki mugs in Brisbane, Australia. They often do custom one off pieces and are known for their provocative designs inspired by Sailor Jerry tattoos, such as the Blue Hair Hula Girl ceramic mug. Their official Instagram can be viewed here.

     Danielle Mann also has a home Tiki bar called The Rita Bar, which was named after the boat in The Creature from the Black Lagoon. She has appeared on the cover of LA Weekly and gives a loving home to a few Chihuahuas.
