Dead Man’s Mug by Haven Cove Customs Giveaway

    There are only three nights left of 13 Nights of Tiki Frights, a multi-day online event hosted by The Search for Tiki and sponsored by Scooter. Each night, from October 19 through October 31, we will be giving away a unique cocktail mug to one lucky winter and interviewing a talented artist known for their work within the Tiki community.

    Today’s giveaway is the green and brown edition of Dead Man’s Mug created by Haven Cove Customs. The ceramic tiki mug depicts the ruthless Davy Jones, a pirate captain that rises up from the ocean floor to enslave unfortunate sailors into a lifetime of servitude. His face is made up of tentacles and his hat has two points that resemble horns. Two other nods to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise are included on this mug; a belt buckle that resembles the lock on the chest that contains Davy Jones’ heart and a piece of Aztec gold on the backside of this mug.

    The giveaway is open until Thursday, October 29 at 6:00pm PDT/9:00pm EST, when we will announce the winner via Instagram Live. You can enter the giveaway and view giveaway rules by clicking here.

    In addition to announcing the winner of the Dead Man’s mug, we are excited to be interviewing two amazing Tiki artists Thursday night, Haven Cove Customs and Tiki Tum (Paul Briggs). Haven Cove Customs is a company founded by Brad and Sara, a military family, that specializes in small batch ceramic tiki mugs. Tiki Tum is Co-Director of Raya and the Last Dragon at Disney Animation and a creator of Tiki / Oceania inspired drawings.
