Jack-O-Lantern Coconut Mug Giveaway – 13 Nights of Tiki Frights

    Tomorrow is the first day of 13 Nights of Tiki Frights, a multi-day online event hosted by The Search for Tiki and sponsored by Scooter! Each night, from October 19 through October 31, we will be giving away a unique cocktail mug to one lucky winter and interviewing a talented artist known for their work within the tiki community.

    Today’s giveaway is the Jack-O-Lantern Coconut Mug with a white lip that was created by Michael Shigeru Sbicca of Jungle Modern Ceramics. The tiki mug depicts a broken coconut (its top has been removed) decorated as a Jack-O-Lantern with a traditional Halloween face.

    The giveaway is open until Monday, October 19 at 6:00pm PDT/9:00pm EST, when we will announce the winner via Instagram Live. You can enter the giveaway and view giveaway rules by clicking here.

    In addition to announcing the winner of the Jack-O-Lantern Coconut mug, we are excited to have B-Rex join us tomorrow on Instagram for a live discussion. B-Rex, also known as Brian Rechenmacher, is an artist that specializes in Tiki and mid-century design. He has produced Tiki mugs, swizzles, pins and art prints, and he is frequently inspired by the Disney theme parks. In addition to creating art, Brian has also mixed cocktails at Forbidden Island in Alameda, California and Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar in Anaheim, California (Disneyland).
