Mondo’s Universal Monster Tiki Mugs Get The Silver Screen Treatment

Fans of black and white films might appreciate the latest grey Tiki mug glaze offered by Mondo, which has been dubbed their “Silver Screen” variant. The new glaze has been applied to their line of Universal Monsters Tiki Mugs, including their Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Mummy, The Wolf Man, and The Phantom of the Opera mugs.
All four of the mugs hold approximately 16 fl. oz. and stand about 6½” tall. They are made of stoneware ceramic and weigh about 2 lbs. The Silver Screen variant mugs are available for purchase now and are expected to ship in 3-5 business days, except for the Phantom of the Opera which is delayed until later this November, 2020.
An edition size has not been determined for the mugs, so they may very well be open editions. Each of the four mugs retails for $50 a piece. They can be purchased via the official Mondo website.
