Pirates Of The Caribbean Inspired Tiki Mug, Explosivo, Depicts Two Precarious Barrels

Tahiti Gil and Tiki Tiki Monster in Southern California are releasing a new cocktail mug today. Explosivo, a Pirates of the Caribbean inspired tiki mug, depicts two explosive barrels stacked haphazardly with an inscription on their front sides.
The front of the mug reads “Ye come seeking adventure and salty old pirates, eh? Sure you come to the proper place… [continued on next barrel] But keep a weather eye open mates and hold on tight with both hands if you please. There be squalls ahead.”
Explosivo is a Limited Edition mug of 167, a nod to when the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction first opened in 1967. The mug holds approximately 40 fl. oz. of cocktail and retails for $150. It goes on sale today, February 20, 2021, at 3:00pm PST and 6:00pm EST. Purchases are limited to one per customer and multiple orders will be refunded. Mugs are expected to ship in mid April.
A signature cocktail recipe created by Skipper Christian, a bartender at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, is included with the mug, along with a 3″ enamel pin also numbered to match the mug. The pin depicts a pin-up girl in pirate-inspired attire holding the Explosivo mug.
