The Jig Is Up; Tonga Hut To Release Limited Edition Eekum Bookum Jiggers At In Person Event

    It’s not a mug, but it may be even cooler. The Tonga Hut Tiki Lounge has partnered with Eekum Bookum to turn its Drooling Bastard cocktail mug into a jigger. The jigger can measure up to 1 fl. oz. in its head and 2 fl. oz. in its reverse side. 

    The Drooling Bastard jigger is inspired by a lava rock statue that is part of a fountain at Tonga Hut. This version is a Limited Edition of 100 and retails for $40 each. The Tonga Hut will also be offering $6 drink specials on Mai Tai, Mojave Punch, and Zombie cocktails at their release event.

    Eekum Bookum is a mug manufacturer headed by John Mulder out of a studio in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Its mugs are hand produced. Eekum Bookum is famous for producing highly detailed and creative mugs for some of the world’s largest Tiki events such as The Hukilau, Tiki Caliente and Tiki Oasis. It also manufactures Tiki mugs for bars and it produces its own line of Tiki mugs under the label Mulder142.

     The new Drooling Bastard jiggers will be available Wednesday, June 2, between 4:00pm and 8:00pm PDT. Tonga Hut is not accepting reservations and will sell jiggers on a first come first serve basis.
