Description
This ceramic mug depicts a head wearing a fez with mismatched color eyes and gritted, triangular teeth. Sold at Bali Hai in San Diego; it is their signature mug after their wooden sculpture of The Goof that is displayed on their roof. The sculpture of the Goof was originally attached to Christian’s Hut of Newport Beach (burned down in 1966) and later, Corona del Mar CA. The original Goof/Christian’s Hut was imported from the filming of the original “Mutiny on the Bounty”, where the cast & crew erected it as a watering hole in Tahiti, and then imported it to the mainland in southern California.
