Description
This ceramic cocktail mug is the third in a series of mugs created by Chris Shima of Shima Ceramics depicting Japanese demons. Shuten Doji, the drunken demon, was a bad-ass demon lord from 14th century Japanese mythology. The story is that as a human he was a mean, brutal drunk that put on a demon masking night as a joke, but that it stuck to his face permanently. He became a powerful, blood-drinking demon lord, one of the most feared yokai in Japan.
