Tikiland Trading Co. has recently updated the expected timeframe for several of its Tiki mug preorders. We are in the process of updating the mug listings on The Search for Tiki, but in the meantime here are the updates for their upcoming Tiki mug lineup:

Keiki Bob, a ceramic mug designed by Tiki tOny, was originally expected to ship in August or September of 2020, but has been delayed. The shipping date is now scheduled for mid December.

Jose and Rosita, two mugs designed by Tiki tOny that are inspired by Disney’s The Enchanted Tiki Room attraction, have started shipping, but not to everyone. Tikiland Trading Co. states the delay is “due to some breakage and glaze issues” on their website. Those who have not received their mugs are expected to get them the beginning of January.

Calling All Spirits by Jeff Granito and Hurry Back by Tiki tOny, inspired by Disney’s The Haunted Mansion, are now expected to ship in Fall of 2020. The estimated delivery date is now February or March of 2021. The delay is caused by Tikiland Trading Co. having to “re-work the design and sculpt of the bowl due to problems with the firing process and breakage occurring.”

Sunbathing Bertha, Skipper’s Bote, The Beachcomber Bombardier, and Cannibal of Doom, also designed by Tiki tOny, are all delayed until early 2021. Tikiland Trading Co. notes the delays are due to a “longer than expected production timeline”.

The Whittle Hippo, Lost Adventurer, and Head Stack mugs are still on schedule for their early 2021 release date, according to Tikiland Trading Co.

Tikiland Trading Co. will be including a free enamel pin designed by Tiki tOny for delayed mugs as a token of their appreciation. Certificates can also be downloaded (from an email they sent out) and printed if a delayed mug was intended as a holiday gift.

Updates on mug statuses are also posted on Tikiland Trading Co’s status page.
