Two Haunted Spirits Mugs (Gator & Quicksand) By Lost Temple Traders Materialize In Sangre Red

    The last two mugs in Lost Temple Traders‘ four part Haunted Spirits mug collection will be available for pre-order Friday. The series depicts tiki versions of the stretching portraits found in Disney’s Haunted Mansion theme park attractions. The versions going on sale Friday are the Sangre red glaze editions only. The earth tone glazes will go on sale at a later date.

    Gator depicts a standing LONO style tiki atop the gaping mouth of an alligator. The painting it is based upon shows a pretty young lady holding a parasol while balancing on a tightrope above a similar gator. In an ode to the original artwork, Lost Temple Traders included a “hole” in the left hand of the tiki that can be used to hold a cocktail umbrella. The other mug, Quicksand, depicts a trio of tikis sinking to their doom.

    Previous mugs in the Haunted Spirits series (Dynamite and Tombstone) have been released in three unique glaze choices; ghost, sangre red, and earth tones. The mugs are being produced by Munktiki Imports. Past mugs retailed for $65 each, which included shipping.

    Those looking to preorder the Gator mug, the Quicksand mug, or both, will be able to do so via the official Lost Temple Traders’ website. They go on sale at 9:00am PST and 12:00pm EST.
