UH-OA! From Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto Has Become A Tiki Mug By Haven Cove Customs

    Behold! It is time for the arrival of the UH-OA Tiki Mug, a mug based on one of the most significant icons found in Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto Tiki Bar. Haven Cove Customs enhanced their latest project with a glow in the dark glaze.

    The original audio-animatronic Uh-Oa was created by Disney Imagineers for the Under New Management version of the Enchanted Tiki Room attraction in the Magic Kingdom of Walt Disney World. The animatronic was later repurposed for Disney’s Tiki Bar at the Polynesian Village Resort in Orlando, Florida.

    The UH-OA! tiki mug will be available in three distinct glazes and each glaze will be a limited edition of 100 mugs. The three editions appear to feature glazes that are green, grey, and yellow/tan. Each mug will retail for $125 and hold approximately 24 fluid ounces of cocktail. A fourth edition, featuring the glow in the dark glaze, will be announced soon.

    Haven Cove Customs is a company founded by Brad and Sara, a military family, that specializes in small batch ceramic Tiki mugs. They recently finished firing the last of the Dead Mans Mug, a sold-out mug depicting Davy Jones, from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
