Anaheim Art Exhibition Announced Featuring The Art Of Ken Ruzic, Doug Horne, BigToe, And McBiff
The 7th Voyage of the Gargantuas, an art exhibition located in Anaheim California, features four artists, seven subjects, and twenty-nine paintings. Included in the show are Southern California based artists Ken Ruzic, Doug Horne, BigToe, and McBiff.
The exhibition opens on Saturday, May 15, from 6:00pm-10:00pm PDT, while the Official Artist Reception will occur Saturday, May 29, between 6:00pm-10:00pm PDT. It is located on 203 Center Street Promenade in Anaheim, California.
An art piece named “The Procession” by Ken Ruzic will be on display in the exhibition. It is an Acrylic on wood piece that measures 20″ wide by 16″ tall and depicts a pair of Night Marchers chanting and drumming as they float down a river.
One of the Doug Horne art pieces featured in the show is titled “Make the Cocktail Max!” for the “Bitches and Bastards” category. It is 12″ x 24″ pencil and pastel on paper in a vintage frame with museum non-glare glass.
BigToe is represented with, among other things, an acrylic art piece overlaid on a 8′ 3″ surfboard titled “Celestial Dragon”. It features a multitude of vibrant blue, yellow, green, and red colors.
McBiff is showing off a new art style with his art piece “Formosa”. It is a Japanese/Formosa themed painting that measures 18″ wide by 24″ tall and comes in a handmade frame.
Strong Water and Plantation Rum will be providing refreshments and bar bites for the event. There is also a Nightmarchers Scorpion Bowl in the works for the event, which includes the art of all four featured artists.
