A 2nd Edition of Max’s South Seas Hideaway Pele Tiki mug is now available for purchase. The 1st Edition of Pele sold out in two minutes and is based on a wood carving done in the 1970’s by Tiki woodworker Guy Wilson. Pele now comes in a glossy olive green glaze.
The mug was sculpted by Australian artist Danielle Mann of Black lagoon Designs and shipped to Max’s South Seas Hideaway, where their studio manufactured and glazed the mug. It measures approximately 3½” wide x 9½” tall. “Max’s South Seas Hideaway” is written on the front of this mug and “Black Lagoon Danielle Mann” is written on the bottom of this mug.
Max’s South Seas Hideaway is a multi-level urban oasis featuring unique drinking experiences designed to transport patrons to a distant tropical paradise.
Black Lagoon Designs create handmade ceramic tiki mugs in Brisbane, Australia. They often do custom one off pieces and are known for their provocative designs inspired by Sailor Jerry tattoos.
Both editions of Pele retail for $125. The olive green version is for sale now via Max’s South Seas Hideaway’s Official Store.
