Fans of Tiki Technical Tuesday rejoice! Volcanic Vapors, the latest project from mastermind VanTiki, will finally be going on sale tomorrow, October 7th. The new cocktail mug comes in two unique glazes and features a sinister spin on the classic lava lamp. The “lava” portion of the mug features a skull.

Volcanic Vapors is being offered as a presale, which means the mugs will ship as they are completed. However production is already well under way and most purchases will be shipped by December. The first two hundred mugs will feature a glitter glaze top and bottom, but the “lava” portion of the mugs will be divided evenly into two color sets. 100 of the mugs will come in magma orange, while the others will come in sulfuric green. The mugs will be randomly numbered.

The cocktail mugs stand about 10½” tall and will comfortably hold around 9 fl. oz. of your favorite mixed drink. If the mug isn’t traveling far, you can push the capacity as high as 10 fl. oz.

Only the first 200 mugs in the edition of 250 will go on sale Wednesday. The rest, when released, will likely go on sale sometime in early 2021. Those will stand out from the rest of the mugs with a white top and bottom.

Each mug is handmade in the United States and will cost $175, which does not include shipping or taxes. Purchases are limited to one per customer. Volcanic Vapors goes on sale tomorrow, October 7, at 12:00pm PDT. You will be able to purchase the mug via VanTiki’s official web store.

Are you hoping to score a magma orange or sulfuric green glazed mug?
