You may have heard of the Pineapple Express, but have you taken a ride in a pineapple zeppelin? A new cocktail mug was just announced for Tiki Underground’s Fourth Anniversary and it depicts a flying pineapple with rum barrel motors and a bamboo basket. The mug is designed and being produced by John Mulder of Eekum Bookum.
Only the concept art for Tiki Underground’s latest mug has been revealed so far, but the design alludes to a multicolored glaze of yellow, green, and white.
Eekum Bookum is a mug manufacturer headed by John Mulder out of a studio in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Its mugs are hand produced. Eekum Bookum is famous for producing highly detailed and creative mugs for some of the world’s largest Tiki events such as The Hukilau, Tiki Caliente and Tiki Oasis. It also manufactures Tiki mugs for bars and it produces its own line of Tiki mugs under the label Mulder142.
The Fourth Anniversary mug is available for preorder now through the official Tiki Underground shop. Each mug retails for $99 and only a select number of mugs will be produced in the first run. Each mug will also include two Royer Corp Tiki Underground logo swizzles. Mugs can be picked up in person or shipped. The anticipated release date has not yet been announced.
