Tikiland Trading Co. recently sent an email and updated the status page on their website regarding delays on several tiki mug preorders. The mugs delayed most significantly are the Whittle Hippo and Calling All Spirits preorders, both of which suffered cracks in the kiln.

As of March 15, the Calling All Spirits bowl is now expected to ship in the third quarter of 2021 between July 1 and September 30. The bowl was originally expected to ship one year earlier, in the Fall of 2020. It was announced in May of 2020

The Whittle Hippo mug appears to be facing similar setbacks. The majority of the mugs cracked during the last firing in the kiln and Tikiland Trading Co. is in the process of remaking all of them. They are still in production, but a final release date is undetermined. Tikiland Trading Co. is shooting for a late Spring release.

The Lost Adventurer and the Head Stack mugs have also been delayed due to a shift in production timeline. They are expected to ship in the second quarter of 2021 between April 1 and June 30. The Skipper’s Bote will start shipping in the Spring.

Sunbathing Bertha, Hurry Back, and Beachcomber Bombardier are expected to ship in about a month and a half. The Skipper’s Bote will not be available until the Spring.

Tiki tOny’s Cannibal of Doom mug will start shipping in a few weeks.

Tikiland Trading Co. has several new mugs that are being produced in the United States. Those will go on sale when they are ready to ship. Are you impacted by any of the delays? Let us know in the comments.
